STATEMENT FROM JAC -  REP. NANCY PELOSI (D-CA) RE-ELECTION TO DEMOCRATIC HOUSE LEADER

Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has led the House Democrats, fighting for our core values.  Today, we congratulate her on her re-election as House Minority Leader.  In that position, Rep. Pelosi will continue to lead her colleagues in that challenging fight to protect and advance a progressive agenda for women and family issues, common sense gun laws and the environment.  Throughout her more than 27 years of serving this country, Rep. Pelosi has consistently demonstrated her commitment, passion and consensus building skills to help pass legislation that strengthens our country. We know we can count on Rep. Pelosi to hold the line against those extreme forces in Congress that will seek to push our country backward and not forward.
