Our Madam Speaker
Submitted by holliswein on Fri, 11/18/2022 - 3:26pmFor nearly 20 years Nancy Pelosi has served in various leadership roles in the House of Representatives. As the first and only woman to serve as Speaker of the U.S. House, she showed women they can and should have a powerful voice and a seat at the table.
Under her guidance, major legislation, such as the ACA, was passed that has impacted the lives of millions of Americans. Her dedication to our country and our democracy serves, and will continue to serve, as an inspiration to all. She paved the way for countless women to choose a career in public service.
